NT kicks off animation internship
Ninja Theory is launching its animation internship program which will run for three months, September through to November this year.
Ninja Animators are some of the best in the world and this opportunity offers aspiring animators to learn from and work alongside them, on a real, AAA PS3 and Xbox360 game.
Interns will work with both hand-keyed animation and motion capture data using Maya. We’re looking for up to eight enthusiastic and talented individuals who are either part-way through or have completed an animation degree or equivalent training. You will be expected to know (and ably demonstrate) a strong ability in hand-keyed animation and whilst you’ll be supported by the animation team and the studio in general you’ll also be expected to be able to work independently when required.
Interns will be provided with accommodation in Cambridge as well as a basic salary and there could even be permanent job opportunities since Ninja Theory is recruiting.
Applicants are invited to send materials to intern@ninjatheory.com. Please ensure you supply an up-to-date CV and any relevant supporting work you think we should see – we expect a strong response so make sure we know why we should choose you! Queries about either the application or the internship can be directed to the same email address.
